Soran University SIS (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the Soran University SIS mobile application (the “App”).

The App itself does not require you to create a new account inside the App. When you sign in, you may enter login credentials to access Soran University’s Student Information System (SIS).

• Information you provide: login details you enter to access the SIS, and any data you submit inside the SIS portal (for example forms, requests, messages).
• Automatically collected data (basic): minimal technical information needed to run the App, such as device type, operating system version, and app performance/crash logs (only if enabled).

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data beyond what is necessary to access the SIS service.

• To provide access to Soran University SIS services.

• To improve app stability (for example, fixing crashes and bugs).

If the App uses a WebView to display Soran University SIS web pages, the SIS website may use cookies or session storage to keep you signed in and to protect your account. The App does not read your passwords; credentials are submitted to the SIS website for authentication.

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6) Data retention

We keep data only as long as necessary to provide the App and comply with legal obligations. Most student records are managed by Soran University SIS systems according to university policies.

7) Children’s privacy

The App is intended for university students and staff. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us.

• You may stop using the App at any time and uninstall it.
• You can manage your SIS account directly through Soran University policies and SIS support.
